Record of Pain
Let this be a record of pain
not a place to bitch and complain
to truthfully tell the story
of how and why I fell
It started before I realized
but it was not a surprise
Pain so deep I wanted to die
For years now I've been saying goodbye
Seems pointless to try to regret
too awake now to try to forget
forced to let
what has to happen, happen
